OUR STORY
Founded in 2023, HONLON SARL U is a Togolese export company bringing high-quality, sustainably produced cocoa and coffee from local farming communities to international markets.
Working closely with the farmer cooperative SCOOPS Kékéli, we promote ethical sourcing, full traceability, fair trade principles and environmentally responsible production.
Since 2025, HONLON has held a Fair for Life certification covering the cocoa produced by SCOOPS Kékéli and its export from our warehouse in Kpalimé, Togo. This certification reflects our commitment to maintaining responsible and transparent practices throughout the supply chain.

FROM OUR ROOTS TO THE WORLD
Sourced exclusively from the farmers of SCOOPS Kékéli in the foothills of Mount Agou, our cocoa reflects the richness of one of Togo's most fertile cocoa-growing regions.
Cultivated from a blend of Forastero hybrids and Amelonado varieties, our beans develop a smooth, well-rounded flavour profile with delicate notes of chocolate, fresh fruit, roasted macadamia and a gentle maple-like sweetness.
This balance makes our cocoa well suited to a wide range of chocolate applications, from dark chocolate to couvertures and specialty products.
OUR COCOA
CRAFTED WITH CARE
Each harvest is carefully fermented for six to seven days in wooden boxes covered with banana leaves. The beans are then naturally sun-dried for five to eight days on traditional African bamboo beds, allowing them to fully develop their aroma and quality.
Every lot is centrally processed and carefully quality-checked to ensure consistency throughout the supply chain.
TRACEABILITY & EUDR READINESS
The cocoa plots within our supply chain have been geolocated and mapped using polygon data, enabling traceability from the farms to the point of export.
We take the requirements of the EU Deforestation Regulation seriously and are already preparing the information needed to support our partners and customers with their due diligence obligations.
